Membership

Seven members to be interviewed and appointed by the Board of Supervisors for terms of four years.

While subject to change, meetings are generally held on the last Wednesday of the month at 5:00pm in the Robert "Bob" Crowell Board Room of the Community Center, 851 East William Street.

Purpose

To follow the requirements on the Carson City Charter, Title 17 and Title 18 of the Carson City Municipal Code, and NRS 278.

Typical Duties

The approval of special use permits and variances; advisory recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on subdivisions, rezoning of property, master plan amendments and street abandonments.
